Size: 1/4" – 5/8" long. Often called “Roly-polies" because of their ability to roll-up into a tight ball when disturbed.

Have Pillbugs infested your home?
Pillbugs are inactive during the day and often hide under debris and objects. They require high moisture areas and prefer the outdoors but may wander inside. If you find an indoor infestation it is likely that an even larger one is currently living outdoors under rocks, debris, trash, flower pots, mulch, etc.

Will Pillbugs bite?
No, Pillbugs will not bite.

Will Pillbugs damage my home or structure?
Pillbugs cause no damage to the home.

Recommendations for control:

Typically Pillbugs will not survive indoors for long due to the lack of moisture that they require. They are most easily removed with a vacuum or broom and dust pan. If you notice a large infestation indoors it is likely that an even larger one exists around the perimeter of the home. A pest management professional will help you control pillbugs.
